And that's where you come in. We're on the hunt for an amazing Head of Growth, who believes in our mission and wants to ensure that every small business can take advantage of what we are offering. You must be metrics driven, digitally savvy and creative to ensure our growth engine is performing efficiently.

The Role

The Growth team is the engine that (as you would expect) drives Thrive’s growth. We focus on community-driven and marketing-driven approaches to ensure our product is the preferred choice of the majority of businesses in Australia.

The Head of Growth is constantly innovating and trying new ways to grow Thrive faster and more effectively. Each area: from acquisition to engagement, have clear goals, deep insights, strong understanding and ultimately, the know-how to grow the brand and our user base at breakneck speed.

This role is perfect for someone who is relishing the opportunity to craft their own direction, free from managerial interference or corporate red tape. It’s perfect for anyone who loves taking ownership and has been wanting to do things the ‘right way’ but just can’t in their current role.

The Head of Growth responsibilities include:

  • Create an acquisition and engagement strategy that exponentially outperforms our competitors
  • Leverage digital marketing, social media and channel partnerships to drive a low CAC and high LTV
  • Be very metrics data and use insights and forecasts to drive all growth and spend decisions
  • Understand our users, their pain points and develop a strategic framework for engaging them
  • Build a world class team in marketing, community, social, and PR to execute this strategy 
  • Acting as a “face of Thrive” in the country for PR purposes (TV interviews, thought leadership)
  • Helping team negotiate key partnerships and other vendors, as necessary
  • Ensuring alignment between marketing, customer need and product value propositions

Experience required:

  • A minimum of 5 years of business experience in marketing, business development or a similar area
  • Stellar relationship building skills and the ability to make smart channel partnerships happen
  • Excellent organisational skills and an ability to manage multiple projects at once
  • Experience in building and leading high growth teams that are efficient and delivering great ROI
  • Passionate about developing team members and them enabling them to deliver on their KPIs
  • Advanced analytical skills and an ability to make strong decisions backed by data and insights
