Settings

If you upload an image of a receipt through your mobile device, Thriday will require access to your camera to do so. To give Thriday camera access:   1. After selecting 'Add Receipt' from the Accounts screen, select TAKE PHOTO   2. Click on GO TO PHONE SETTINGS and enable camera permissions   3. After camera permissions have been enabled, follow the prompts to upload your receipt  

To change the personal alerts you receive with Thriday:   1. From the Home screen, click on Settings   2. Click on Personal Profile   3. Click on NOTIFICATIONS   4. Adjust notification settings to your preference  

To change the outlay of your home screen: 1. From the Home screen, click on Settings   2. Click on Home   3. Click and drag the slider icon to reorder the modules       

To change your tax file number (TFN) with Thriday:   1. From the Home screen, click on Settings   2. Click on Tax   3. Enter your tax file number   4. Click on SAVE CHANGES  

There are key differences and legal implications that exist between a sole trader and company business structures.    A sole trader refers to a self-employed individual who owns and runs their own business and is the simplest business structure to set up. To operate as a sole trader you will require an Australian Business Number (ABN) and registration of a business name (unless you trade under your own name). With sole trader business structures, you and your business are considered a single entity meaning you retain complete control over your business. Additionally, personal income tax rates will apply to your business as well as personal liability for any debts or losses incurred.     Conversely, setting up a company requires an Australian Company Number (ACN) as well as an ABN which must be registered through the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC). As a more complex business structure that is recognised as a separate legal entity, there are higher set-up costs, however, personal liability does not apply for losses or debts incurred. This allows you to take out loans and other debts without risking your personal assets. In addition, the corporate tax rate will apply, separate from its managers and shareholders. companies are subject to annual review by ASIC and are required to hold their own separate bank account.   To learn more about the difference between a sole trader and a company, please see here.     

To hide modules on your Home screen:   1. From the Home screen, click on Settings   2. Click on Home   3. Deselect the eye icon to hide the module from view    

To change your registered home address on Thriday:   1. From the Home screen, click on Settings   2. Click on Personal Profile   3. Click on ADDRESS   4. Click on the edit icon and input your new address   5. Click on SAVE CHANGES  

To change your business address:   1. From the Home screen, click on Settings   2. Click on Business Profile   3. Click on ADDRESS   4. Select the edit icon   5. Make amendments to your business address and click SAVE CHANGES    

To view your business profile: 1. From the Home screen, click on Settings   2. Click on Business Profile   3. From here, you can view your business profile details  

If you would like to complete or change your tax profile on Thriday:   1. From the Home screen, click on Tax   2. Click on Tax Profile   3. Apply the relevant filters   4. Click on SAVE & CLOSE  

To add a business logo to your account: 1. From the Home screen, click on Settings   2. Click on Business Profile   3. Click Add Business Logo and follow the prompts to upload  

To turn off alerts: 1. From the Home screen, click on Settings   2. Click on Menu   3. Click on the bell icon to turn alerts off    

Your personal information such as your name and date of birth can't be changed once you have registered.
